The FIO-18x1 series is a flexible serial digital video-to-fiber and fiber-to-video module for the Densité frame. The FIO-18x1 is designed for SD and HD serial video as well as compressed bit-streams. The series supports any data rate in the range 5 Mbps to 1.5 Gbps and provides a reclocked serial digital video from 143 Mbps to 1.5 Gbps. The FIO-18x1 series offers 5 different configurations. Depending on how it is configured, the FIO-18x1 can provide single or dual fiber Tx, single or dual fiber Rx or bidirectional fiber Rx/Tx. The FIO-18x1 can be installed in the same chassis as a series of interface modules, providing a wide variety of video, audio and data conversion and multiplexing functions.(MSB compliant, SD only)
