HD/SD Video Control Probe with Embedded Audio

The new HCP-1801 Control Probe extends the functionality of the award-winning Densité Series probes to quality control of HD-SDI digital video (SMPTE-292-M-1998) with embedded SMPTE 272M digital audio in SMPTE 274M (1080i) and SMPTE 296M (720p) high definition (HD) formats, as well as SMPTE 259M-C type standard definition (SD) formats, in 525i (SMPTE 125M) and 625i (ITU-R BT.656) formats. The HCP-1801 probe integrates many advanced features for monitoring both video and embedded audio signals. It offers complete real-time measurement and analysis of signal parameters, as well as flexible alarm thresholds and user-defined profiles. In addition, the probe functions as a distribution amplifier, with a single input and four HD or SD reclocked outputs.Used in conjunction with Miranda’s iControl, the HCP-1801 allows users to see and hear the signals they are monitoring. The probe generates real-time streaming video and audio level meters for transmission over IP networks.The probe can be used along with a wide variety of Densité Series interfaces and DA's, and allows users to benefit from the extensive flexibility and ease of use so unique to the Densité platform.
