DEVIS - Deployable Emergency Video Information System
When tragedy strikes, knowing where to go or what to do can mean the difference between life and death. DEVIS, a stand-alone video messaging and an emergency alert system, is designed to do just that by quickly and efficiently delivering emergency messages.
What makes DEVIS so attractive is its ability to handle every-day video messaging chores and then switch into its emergency messaging role instantly to deliver Amber Alerts, severe weather warnings and other local emergency messaging.
Users can even activate emergency messages remotely via telephone by punching in a special access code on the phone’s keypad, or they can control DEVIS locally or remotely over a LAN from a graphical user interface.
The DEVIS system uses PowerPoint exclusively for all messaging chores, so there is no reason to learn a new program or system. With DEVIS, PowerPoint files can be scheduled so you can plan ahead with updates rather than having to maintain messaging daily. PowerPoint files can even be updated without taking your CCTV channel off the air.
