The BSG-50 provides an economical means for generating the most common RS-170A video timing signals used to operate various video switchers, effects generators, VTRs/VCRs, cameras, video edit controllers, and other professional video equipment.


  • 6 BNC video/pulse outputs easily configurable to meet specific user/equipment needs
  • Choose any output mix from 6 blackburst, 4 sync, and 2 subcarrier
  • Each sync signal individually settable as composite sync, composite blanking, H drive or V drive. Burst flag is also available.
  • Separate buffer for each output provides maximum signal isolation
  • Adjustments provided for setup, sync, and burst levels and SC/H.
  • 1Khz, OdB sinewave audio tone output (unbalanced)
  • 8 BNC outputs are provided on Rackmount and Short Rack models
  • lso available in 30-frame format
